Cloud Computing: Abiquo Joins the HP AllianceONE Program

Customers can now build and manage private clouds with Abiquo through the HP partner program

Abiquo on Monday announced it is joining the HP AllianceONE partner program to bring its business policy-driven cloud management solution to service providers and enterprise customers. The solution will benefit customers by enabling them to increase their server and storage utilization rates by utilizing Abiquo's unique business policy engine to centrally automate and manage all globally deployed resources.

"With the HP AllianceONE Program, we are making the benefits of cloud computing more readily available to customers using their existing infrastructure," said Pete Malcolm, CEO Abiquo. "We look forward to working with HP to offer massively scalable, business policy-driven cloud management solutions that help enterprises and the service providers who support them to leverage their existing HP infrastructure investments to build and cost-effectively manage their globally deployed resources."

As part of the HP AllianceONE Program, Abiquo will integrate, test and validate Abiquo with HP servers, networking and storage devices. As a result, customers can now easily transform their datacenters into a private, public or hybrid cloud computing environment, while leveraging their existing infrastructure.

"By leveraging the HP AllianceONE Program, software vendors now have the necessary tools to create competitive advantages and grow their businesses," said Robin Hensley, director, Enterprise Servers, Storage and Networking Solutions & Strategic Alliances, HP. "With access to the solutions, tools, services and expertise offered through AllianceONE, Abiquo can more easily assist clients in simplifying the deployment process of a cloud computing service."
