Abiquo Launches Partner Program to Meet Cloud Computing Demand

Welcomes first nine international reseller, distribution, consulting and systems integration partners

Abiquo on Wednesday announced the launch of the global Abiquo Partner Program (APP) to address the growing market need for an effective and agile way to manage datacenter infrastructure as a self-service cloud. The program provides resellers, distribution partners, consulting firms and systems integrators with the materials and support they need to deliver a leading enterprise-class cloud management solution or service to their customers.

Pete Malcolm, CEO of Abiquo, noted that "Enterprises worldwide are looking for ways to optimize IT responsiveness to business needs, as well as controlling costs. Abiquo's channel partnerships provide those enterprises with local technical expertise they trust, and provides the Abiquo partner with a cloud management solution that adds immediate value to their customers.

Abiquo is proud to announce the following nine partner companies from around the globe:

Leading resellers and distributors include Agilysys (Nasdaq: AGYS), which operates from locations throughout North America and in the United Kingdom, Singapore and Hong Kong; CTC Itochu, based in Tokyo, Japan; GTI, headquartered in Hong Kong with offices in Beijing and Shanghai; BAIP in Vilnius, Lithuania; Tungsten Management Consulting, headquartered in London, UK; and UnGeo in Beijing China.

The Abiquo Partner Program is open to partners that serve the needs of enterprises dealing with datacenter optimization initiatives like virtualization and cloud computing. The program provides various levels of sales, technical, educational and marketing support, depending on the partner type and level. Within the Abiquo Partner Program is the Abiquo Reseller Program (ARP) which specifically serves the needs of our resell and distribution partners. This program works with these partner members to deliver training and certification in addition to various levels of sales, technical, product and marketing support.
